Icy Portraits in the Aftermath of a Tennessee Snow Storm |
A winter snow storm is one of the best reasons to venture outside with your camera in search of simple but interesting patterns and ice formations. You will encounter increasingly unique images depending on the time of day, and depending even on your mood at the time. Shadows, subtle hues, snowy vistas...action shots...they will all be there for you to tell the story of what you see and feel; and then you can go out again the next day and start your story-telling all over again. These images were taken during a two-hour hike in the bitter cold immediately following ten fresh inches of snow in the Great Smoky Mountains. |
